7-point quality certificate

The 7-point quality certificate is the German Gemstone House’s internal framework for quality assurance and testing.

It was developed to establish clear, verifiable selection and documentation standards within a globally fragmented and non-standardized gemstone market.

The 7-point quality certificate defines binding internal criteria for the selection, testing, and documentation of investment-grade gemstones.
It provides a systematic framework to ensure the selection process is not opportunistic, but based on verifiable gemological, market-related, and structural standards.

The goal is to provide clients with transparency, clarity, and a clearly documented basis for decision-making.

Why this certificate is important

Transparency and traceability as a selection principle

The colored gemstone market is not standardized; quality, treatment, origin, and valuation can vary considerably.

The 7-point quality certificate provides a systematic framework and ensures that every stone is:

Gemologically tested
Internationally certified
Externally evaluated
Clearly documented
Selected through a process that is transparent and traceable

It serves as internal confirmation that selection is based on clearly defined criteria and is not opportunistic. This gives clients the assurance that they are acquiring a physically existing, tested, and clearly identified stone, with a valuation that is verifiably documented.

Structure instead of promises

The certificate is not a government certification or an external seal of approval; it is an internal quality concept of the German Gemstone House. It documents the individual testing steps—from selection to external laboratory certification to independent valuation by publicly appointed and sworn experts. Responsibility lies in a structured selection process, not in blanket value commitments.

Intergenerational capability

Colored gemstones are physical assets.
Provided they are not physically damaged, they can retain their material existence for centuries.
This physical durability forms the basis for integrating gemstones into intergenerational wealth structures.
The 7-point quality certificate documents the prerequisites for this long-term focus on substance.

Individual gemstone certificates

Each gemstone is tested by internationally recognized, independent gemological laboratories.

The laboratory report documents the gemological properties of the stone, including mineral identification, color, clarity, weight, and—where analytically determinable—origin.

The certificate is part of the handover and will be provided to the client both in physical form and digitally.

Note: The individual laboratory certificate refers exclusively to the individual gemstone.

It is not the same as the company’s internal 7-point quality certificate, which documents the overall selection and testing methodology.
